Dr. Husain attended dental school at University of Texas, graduating with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007. As someone who values her opportunities to continue her education, Dr. Husain went to receive her certification in Laser dentistry and the SMART safe mercury amalgam removal technique, and she continues to take continuing  courses every two months. She is the member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the international Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
