Dental implants are artificial teeth installed in your jaw as a remedy for missing permanent teeth. It consists of a titanium screw fixed on the gum and a connector that joins the screw to the visible tooth crown.
With the implant anchored to your jaw, you can smile and laugh confidently, eat whatever you want, and live pain-free. It looks and feels natural and does not affect the other teeth.

Dental Implants with Dr. Kamila
Missing teeth? Ask Dr. Kamila Husain about dental implants! Implants replace both the roots and the crowns of your teeth, making them the perfect solution for restoring your oral health and smile.
Dental implants are an effective, natural-looking and long-lasting tooth replacement options for patients who are missing a single tooth, multiple teeth or a complete dental arch of teeth. Made of two parts, the implant post and the implant restoration, this restorative treatment option replaces both the visible and hidden parts of the missing tooth. With the implant post, a titanium screw surgically inserted into the jawbone at the site of the missing tooth, replaces the missing tooth root, the dental restoration held in place by the post replaces the visible part of the missing tooth or teeth. After the initial implant placement operation, a period of healing is required to allow the biocompatible implant post to bond with the natural surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration.
Following this healing period, our dentist will place the dental implant restoration, or replacement tooth, which fits on top of the implant post. Depending on which teeth are missing and your personal dental needs, your implant restoration might be a dental crown, dental bridge, or a complete or partial denture. Each dental implant restoration is custom made to fit your smile comfortably and aesthetically.
Replacing a missing tooth can restore your smile to optimal health, function and appearance. A dental implant is a great option for restoring your smile because the implant is designed to look, function and feel just like your natural teeth, and with proper care, it can last a lifetime.
